The Edible City : A Year of Wild Food

I’m delighted to say that the publication date for my book – The Edible City: A Year of Wild Food – is now set for September 8th and there will be two launch events, one for the press on September 13th and a less formal do at Stoke Newington Books (London N16) on September 29th. This second event is open to all but it’s invite only, so if you’d like to come then please drop me an email to john@foragelondon.co.uk and I will put you on the list. The Edible City contains sixty short essays about foraging, sixty recipes and sixty beautiful hand painted illustration, I’m very excited it’s finally happening and a little nervous too. I imagine I will be doing quite a bit of press and radio in the next few weeks and in the meantime I have made this very short film about the book and below are a couple of pages so you can get an idea of how it looks.  https://www.facebook.com/ForageLondon/videos/1168425559880401/
As they say, it’s available from all good retailers, at least I hope so….or you can pre order it here

As a fellow forager I gather books as readily as plants. I gathered yours to add to the ever-expanding collection over a year ago now. I have only this morning got around to opening it. It is a real gem!
