Forage London is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

Forage London may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. In the unlikely event you have nothing better to do, you should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from Monday May 21st 2018.

What we collect

We may collect the following information:

  • your name
  • contact information including your email address
  • demographic information such as your postcode
  • other information relevant to which event you have booked on or enquired about

What we do with the information we gather

  • internal record keeping ie controlling the number of people booked on a specific event or any persons who have asked to go on a waiting list, checking event booking info and sending out details about meeting points, times etc.
  • we may use the information to improve our products and services.
  • we may periodically send out news letters about new foraging related events or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided. Our emails are sent through a third party service called Direct Mail. Only your email address will exist on the mailing list we create within Direct Mail and only Forage London can access this and use it for the purposes listed above.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Our e-commerce software (WooCommerce) and third party payment (Paypal) use cookies. A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer’s hard drive. Once you agree, the file is added and the cookie helps analyse web traffic or lets you know when you visit a particular site. Cookies allow web applications to respond to you as an individual. Our website may very occasionally contain links to other websites of interest.
