Cancellation by you, the client.
To cancel your foraging course booking and receive a refund, I require 2 full weeks notice prior to the event date. If you cancel any time later than this I neither can give you a refund nor transfer you to another walk. When a walk is fully booked, we stop selling places on our website. As a result, I can’t resell your foraging course tickets. Moving you to another foraging course would still leave me at a loss. I am happy for you to send someone else in your place. Where possible I will obviously do my best to fill the place but make no guarantees. Locations may also change if absolutely necessary, very occasionally and always to somewhere nearby, in order to make the most of what is in season. In the case of illness, we still require 2 full weeks’ notice. We know this is not always possible, so we are always happy to transfer your ticket to another attendee where possible.
Course cancellations or alterations to events by Forage London.
While we aim to run all foraging courses and events as scheduled. Unforeseen circumstances such as adverse weather conditions may force us to cancel. If this happens, we will offer an alternative location or date to all booked participants. If we cannot find a mutually suitable date or location, we will provide a full refund. Although Forage London will try to give as much notice as possible, sometimes cancellations happen at the last minute. Under these circumstances, Forage London will not be liable for additional costs, travel, or accommodation expenses, only the foraging course or event fees themselves.

Gift Vouchers for all events.
If you book a place on one of our foraging courses or events for someone else, please buy a voucher or vouchers. The recipient can use these vouchers on any of our dates. Availability is limited to no more than 16 people per event. All vouchers are valid for 1 year from the purchase date.
Limit of Liability.
By their very nature our foraging courses and events are not absolutely free from hazard. We make every effort to minimise all risks to our clients. We will instruct them in the safe negotiation of any that remain. Consequently Forage London does not accept liability for any physical injury to a client, damage to property, or any losses, consequential or otherwise, unless they are shown to be due to negligence on our part.
Lastly, and this is important…
If you are booking accommodation in conjunction with any of our foraging courses or events and I have to cancel at short notice due to unforeseen circumstances, i.e. extreme weather, illness etc, I cannot cover the cost of any prepaid travel or accommodation. Please bear this in mind. Obviously, this is not a common occurrence.
