‘Thank you for the walk today. It was absolutely brilliant. I learnt such a lot. Your passion in your subject really came across, and the time flew past.’ Marion Pennington
A morning collecting edible wild mushrooms in an area of stunning woodland, learning to safely identify edible and poisonous species and getting to understand how these amazing organisms protect, regulate and manage the forest eco system.
All walks are held in Hampshire within a few miles of Brockenhurst or Ashurst stations…the exact locations will be provided prior to the event and all walks will be lead by either John Rensten or Peter Studzinski.
IMPORTANT THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE BOOKING.
You will need a car or bike to get to this location.
Depending on conditions I may cancel this event at short notice (and issue full refunds) if I do, I cannot be responsible or travel that you have paid for.
Please be advised before booking, some of our mushroom forays may not be suitable for people with mobility difficulties so if in any doubt please email me in advance. In addition, please be aware that although these events run for approximately 3 hours, that could easily turn out to be 4 hours instead, so I urge you not to book a posh lunch somewhere timed precisely to coincide with the end of the walk, give yourself plenty of leeway.
If this event is fully booked and you’d like to go on the cancellations waiting list please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
