NEW FOREST : MUSHROOM HUNTING : Late season dates Dec 8/9th

The New Forest.
10am various dates

With the season looking like it will be quite late this year, and all our events fully booked these late dates are probable, not definite. To go on the waiting list please email me at and I will a-lot places on a first come first served basis when they come off. The events will be as follows

A morning collecting edible wild mushrooms in an area of stunning private woodland, learning to safely identify edible and poisonous species and getting to understand how these amazing organisms protect, regulate and manage the forest eco system.

All walks are held in Hampshire within a few miles of Brockenhurst or Ashurst stations…the exact locations will be provided prior to the event and all walks will be lead by either John Rensten or Peter Studzinski.

Please be advised before booking, some of our mushroom forays may not be suitable for people with mobility difficulties so if in any doubt pleas email me in advance. In addition, please be aware that although these events run for approximately 3 hours, that could easily turn out to be 4 hours instead, so I urge you not to book a posh lunch somewhere timed precisely to coincide with the end of the walk, give yourself plenty of leeway.
