DORSET : Coastal foraging and cooking. July 28th.

After meeting at 12pm at Chesil Beach, we will head off to explore a couple of very different coastal environments, with estuary and seaside foraging, gathering seaweeds at low tide, samphire, wild spinach and numerous other delicious edibles followed by a beach cookery class with Fraser from The Coastal Survival School and a beach cook up and drinks to finish. We will be covering various different types of terrain, some quite rocky (if you are at all unsure about this then please email me before booking). The beach location we are headed for is about 20 minutes drive from Weymouth station (about 2hrs 45mins direct from Waterloo, a bit longer to drive). If coming by train then please expect to get a taxi from outside the station which will cost an additional £15 each way. This course finishes at approximately 4.30pm
